Can't Wait !!!!!

It's so very sad that some of these people feel the need to vent there views before reviewing the facts.
Top 5 Facts About Foie Gras

1. The duck does not have a gag reflex and has an insensitive, collagen-lined esophagus, enabling it to swallow large fish and other prey without pain.

2. In nature, ducks fatten their livers for energy prior to migration and the effect is reversible.

3. Independent vets, scientists, chefs and journalists who have witnessed the feeding conclude that it causes ducks no harm.

4. American foie gras is raised on small-scale farms using artisanal methods.

5. The American Veterinary Medical Association has refused to take a stance against foie gras.

Why don't you go spread your negativity to the "Girl Scouts" who use So Much Palm Oil that Rain Forests are being cut down, or the extremely inhumane practices of the Pork Industry.

Protecting Rights?
by: Anonymous

Protecting our rights to eat? Who is protecting the rights of the ducks and geese that are tortured by the inhuman process of creating Foie Gras? Thank goodness the State of California will be starting in July and has better sense than the Boyd's.

disgusting!
by: Karen Theisen

I think what you are doing with your foie gras dinners is truly shameful. You are encouraging people to get in as much pain and suffering as possible before the ban on foie gras takes place! Unbelievable. Why don't you make delicious foods without torturing innocent creatures? Foie gras is becoming a thing of the past. Why do you think it is being banned?? Get with the program: We don't want it because we don't want to contribute to this practice which is the source of needless cruelty and suffering.
