The Truckee Restaurant Deals page will point you in the direction of where to go to get the best restaurant deals out there. From the Dining for Schools Card Program that entitles the bearer to 50% off any individual dinner entree at 43 participating restaurants in the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe area, to special events like the Lake Tahoe Restaurant Week, you can find the deals on this page!

Also, local Truckee Restaurants and Lake Tahoe Restaurants, will be able to enter their own special deals below. Each deal will have it's own page on the Truckee Travel Guide Website with a summary and a link to the devoted page below. Up to 4 pictures can be included. Dining For Schools Program

1. What: The Dining for Schools card entitles the bearer to 50% off any individual dinner entree at 43 participating restaurants in the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe area. The card is non-transferable, but may be used an unlimited number of times at any participating restaurant during the valid period.


2. Cost: $50.00/each


3. What Organization Makes them: The Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation which is a Non-Profit Organization. Their mission is to enhance public education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District to strengthen the learning experience for students.

5. Who do the Proceeds Benefit: All proceeds from the purchase of Dining for Schools cards benefit the Tahoe/Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation. Each year, the Foundation raises money and provides grants, resources and partnerships to benefit students, teachers, and the educational community as a whole.


6. 2012-2013 Valid Dates:
   
   1. Sunday through Thursday only, (holidays excluded) September 9 - December 13, 2012 and April 7 - June 13, 2013. Some restrictions apply.
   2. Several restaurants offer an extended period where the dining card is valid. This extended period is January 6 - March 28, 2013.

• Dragonfly Restaurant & Sushi Bar - Locals Appreciation Night every Monday all night with deeply discounted menu from Sushi and the Hot Side. Dragonfly won the "Best Asian Restaurant" award, and tied for third for Best Sushi in the 2011 Best of Truckee and North Tahoe Contest and is located in Downtown Truckee's Commercial Row.
