Truckee Restaurants Mid Priced

The Truckee Restaurants Mid Price Range Restaurants are some of the most popular! There is a nice variety of restaurants that should please everyone. These places are a step above the fast food places, and yet won't be as painful on your wallet as some of the more Expensive Truckee Restaurants!

Here are my families current favorite Restaurants: (Share YOUR Favorites on the Form Below!)

• For Coffee: Wild Cherries Coffee House & Trokay Cafe
• For Breakfast: We love Squeeze In (My Daughter's friend Amanda Thorsby works there!)
• For Lunch: Wong's Garden - I no longer eat meat, but I was partial to their broccoli and beef luncheon. Lots of food for the price!
• For Italian Food: Pianeta Ristorante
• For Mexican Food: Casa Baeza
• For Lunch or Dinner: Cottonwood Restaurant - sitting out on the patio deck and looking out at the awesome views of the Truckee River, Downtown Truckee Commercial Row, and the Mountains! I Love Pacific Crest too!
• Favorite Truckee Restaurant - $$$ Moody's Bistro & Lounge (inside the Truckee Hotel)
• Favorite place to eat at Lake Tahoe: Sunnyside Inn (especially at the Mountain Grill on the back deck which is right on the water!) or Jake's on The Lake

We love Sushi and have been wanting to try the Dragonfly Restaurant & Sushi Bar for some time, but the last two times that we have been in town, they were full up, and you could not get in without a reservation. To me that was a great sign that it must be amazing! They have a great outside deck. I need to make a reservation for the next time I plan to go up to Truckee and try it out!

We also love Thai Food and have checked out the menu from the Thai Nakorn Cuisine. It looks wonderful and will be one of the first Truckee Restaurants that we will try in 2011.

There have been some new Restaurants that have opened in Truckee since we lived there, so we will be trying them asap, to see if our favorites are still the same. We were sad to hear about OB's Pub closing down as that had been a favorite of ours.

I am on a personal mission to try every Restaurant in Truckee in 2011, and write a review for this website.
